AN INVITATION TO GET BACK INTO ACTION
We all have those important tasks that keep getting pushed to the bottom of our to-do lists. These focused online Get Stuff Done sessions will give you dedicated time and my support to tackle the career-building activities you've been putting off - whether that's updating your LinkedIn profile, preparing for a difficult conversation, or working on your personal brand.
In fact, you can use the time for anything that you keep stalling on, whatever it is. I once had someone turn up to one of these sessions who sat and mended a rug - a task she'd been putting off for years!
Laura | Investment Director | Quilter Cheviot
This session has been amazing, I don't think I have ever achieved so much in three slots of 45 mins!
Mary | Investment Director | Rathbones
Great session - I got stuff done! Something about being online with others helped me to focus and do tasks I'd been avoiding that needed doing!
Sophie | Department Head
Thank you for these Get Stuff Done sessions. They are brilliant! It has given me structure, community, connection and a balm to my anxiety.
WHAT ARE GET STUFF DONE SESSIONS?
These are interactive co-working and accountability sessions designed specifically for women working in wealth management, financial services, investment banking, and related fields. They offer you the opportunity to block out precious time in your diary to work on anything that you don't normally get the chance to tackle.
You might want to focus on career-building activities like networking preparation, professional development planning, or working through that presentation you've been avoiding. Or perhaps you'll use the time for something completely different that's been weighing on you.

HOW THE SESSIONS WILL RUN:
There will be two three-hour sessions during the day - a morning session from 10.30am - 1pm and an afternoon session from 2pm - 4.30pm.
Between the sessions, from 1pm - 2pm, you're invited to stay on Zoom for an informal lunch and networking hour - a wonderful chance to connect with other women from the wealth and finance sector, share experiences, and build your professional network.
You can choose to join for the full day (including the lunch break), attend just one session, or even join for part of a session.
The only requirement is that you’re present for the short purpose-setting exercise at the start of each session you attend - this is what makes the day so focused and effective.
TIMINGS:
- Morning Session: 10.30am - 1pm UK
- Lunch & Networking: 1pm - 2pm UK
- Afternoon Session: 2pm - 4.30pm UK
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR SESSION:

Working in the wealth and finance sector, you know how demanding the pace can be. If you feel you've lost momentum on important personal or professional projects, or would simply value a focused boost, this is the ideal opportunity to block out some time and make real progress.
The accountability piece comes through having my guidance and support during each session, along with other women from your sector working 'alongside' you virtually. The optional lunch break offers a relaxed space to step away from your tasks, connect with peers, and enjoy some informal conversation.
We'll start each session together and I'll help you set your purpose for what you want to achieve, plus deal with anything that may be blocking you from taking action.
HERE'S WHAT TO DO IF YOU'D LIKE TO JOIN:
- Register using the sign up form below
- Look out for a confirmation email with a reminder of the timings and the Zoom link to join for the purpose-setting at the beginning of each session
- Block out the time in your diary (and consider staying for the lunch networking if you're joining both sessions!
- Ahead of time, think about what you want to work on during your session. It's amazing what you'll be able to accomplish with some support and focused time and energy

So pleased I took the time to attend this - it gave me the time to focus with support to tackle a particularly overwhelming task. I feel a lot lighter for the experience, now having a plan of action.
Heather | Client Director | Wise Investment
Having other people present held me to account, and allowed me to focus on what I said I would do. Really useful session.

Today's 'Get It Done' session with Caroline was so useful! It works so well for me because it makes me feel supported, accountable and focused. I can honestly say that, in this session, I really did 'Get Things Done' - very efficiently and effectively. Brilliant!
ABOUT CAROLINE:
Caroline Holt is a leading expert in helping professional women to step free of the Imposter Syndrome and other limiting attitudes so they can embrace and enjoy success, whatever that means for them.
She had a successful twenty-year career in communications, was Managing Partner for the European division of an international innovation consultancy, and went on to co-found Happen, a leading global innovation agency ultimately acquired by Accenture.
However, the greater her success, the more she was accompanied by the nagging doubt that she didn't deserve it and would be found out as a fraud. Like many senior women, this resulted in her putting excessive pressure on herself to perform - which, eventually, led to burn-out and the decision that it was time for her to find a different way of doing success.
She is now the go-to person for women who want to transform the attitudes and behaviours that are limiting them so they can fully own and enjoy their success.
She designed and delivers the PIMFA Authentic Leadership Programme for women in wealth and finance and runs similar programmes in-house for corporates. Over the last 15 years, she has guided 100s of women through transformative leadership programs from prestigious firms including Evelyn, Rathbones, Handelsbanken, HSBC, and Canaccord Genuity.
Caroline brings both expertise and warmth to providing safe spaces and powerful techniques for women to determine what matters most, overcome the obstacles to success and build the attitudes and skills that bring meaning and fulfilment.
